Since 2003 the “Earl Stone Classic” has been a standard for Ventura and Los Angeles County all-star teams in three divisions: ages 7u-9u. The tournament was named for Mr. Stone who was instrumental in the development of youth baseball in Ventura County, having served the sport for 50 years, 25 as a member of the District 13 staff.
