Information
The
James Street Memorial Scholarship Award
Conejo Valley
Little League is offering multiple
scholarships again this year for qualifying local
high school seniors from Thousand Oaks, Newbury park
and Westlake high schools who plan to attend a
four-year college or university. CVLL has awarded
over $20,000 in scholarships since 1983 to seniors
who have participated in CVLL baseball.
To qualify, a
graduating senior must have played or umpired in
CVLL for at least five years and plan to attend a
four year college or university, junior college, or
trade school. Applicants are judged on academic
achievements, written essay and oral interview.
Applications
are available from the guidance departments at local
high schools and the scholarship foundations at
local junior colleges.
Applications
must be postmarked no later than May of the given
year.
